The project’s goal was to design a series of posters for The Maccabiah Games - an international Jewish sporting event often referred to as “the Jewish Olympics.”
The Maccabiah, founded in 1932, brings together thousands of Jewish athletes from around the world to compete in Israel every four years, celebrating identity, unity, and athletic excellence.

My concept centered on the sports fields themselves - viewing the playing field as both a physical stage and a graphic grid.

Graphic Symbols Design
The first symbol deconstructs the Star of David into its six component triangles, rearranged into a new variation inspired by the Olympic rings - serving as a metaphor for the Maccabiah, often referred to as the Jewish Olympics. The second symbol combines the Hebrew letter “מ” (Mem) with the Latin “M”, forming a unified mark that echoes the shape of the Olympic torch.
